Proper placement of watermarks


Please place watermarks in an area on your photograph that would be difficult to crop out. Even if the intellectual property thefts were to superimpose their own watermark over yours, they will be sacrificing a part of the picture. Example:

Placing the watermark in an area that does not superimpose on the subject of your photograph defeats the purpose of placing the watermark. Example:

Placing the water in this position is counterproductive since it can be easily cropped out or superimposed with another image.
